About ProfShelf

ProfShelf is a web application developed to improve student accessibility and inventory to Rowan University food resource theSHOP pantry. Many students often lack clear visibility of available items, which can lead to unnecessary trips to access food. Another challenge for staff members is keeping track of expiration dates and inventory, which can result in expired items, such as perishable goods and meats. ProShelf will allow the students to view current inventory, filter based on dietary preference. At the same time, staff members are able to track stock levels, expiration dates, and receive alerts for items that are close to expiring or low, helping ensure that the resources that are available to those in need are safe.
